 Performance

The non-hybrid Pacifica model includes a 3.6 liter V6 engine. It produces 286 horsepower and 262 pounds of torque. The plug-in hybrid has a lithium battery, two electric motors, and produces 260 horsepower. The gas only models have stow-n-go hubs so that the second row can stow under the floor for more cargo space. The 2016 Pacifica may be family friendly, but it can go from 0 to 60 in 7.5 seconds, the fastest of any tested mini-vans this year.

 Interior

The design of the new 2016 Chrysler Pacifica was not cheap. It cost engineers more than $2 billion to create the new model for the tech savvy family. The interior is incredibly quiet. It features eight passenger seating, stow-n-go rear seat, a hatchback, a center console with storage, dual power sliding doors, sensor operated rear door, and easy tilt seating for access to the third row. It features driver seat lumbar support, rear ventilation fans and controls, power windows, a rear view camera, and front, rear, and second row seat cup holders.

Technology was important in the new design of this mini-van. Options can include touchscreen navigation, Bluetooth wireless datalink for hands-free phones, rear entertainment system, leather interior, and more. Included is USB connections as well.
