The 2022 Jeep Gladiator is equipped as standard with a 3.6-liter V6 with 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. If you'd rather have a diesel engine, the new Gladiator offers an optional 3.0-liter diesel V6 generating 260 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque. A 6-speed manual transmission is standard across the Gladiator range; an 8-speed automatic is available. In addition, all Gladiator models offer a four-wheel-drive system and generous ground clearance (10.0 inches) that contribute to drivability on rough roads and even off-road.

When appropriately equipped, the Gladiator can tow up to 7650 pounds. Also, it features a 5-foot bed that can carry a payload of 1,075 to 1,700 pounds, depending on the configuration.
