Performance
The 2016 Jeep Patriot is powered by a 2.0 liter I-4 engine with a 5-speed manual transmission that can generate up to 158 horsepower and achieve up to 23 mpg in the city and up to 30 mpg on the highway*. In addition, one can upgrade to a 2.4L power plant as well as CVT automatic transmission. The vehicle includes front wheel drive, but also offers an optional all-wheel drive system, and capable of 2,000 lbs. maximum towing capacity.
Interior
The 2016 Patriot offers a number of interior features that provide a comfortable driving experience. A few of the interior amenities include heated bucket front seats with premium cloth upholstery or an optional leather trim upholstery, two interior color options for seating, automatic temperature control system and an illuminated cup holder. The vehicle also includes steering wheel mounted buttons for audio and cruise control that helps the driver keep hands on the steering wheel, a power sunroof with sliding sunshade, 53.5 square feet of cargo space and a split folding 60/40 rear seat back.
